Our new Goss SSC Magnum web press is a workhorse. With this press, we can offer you quality web offset printing on a variety of widths and formats: broadsheets, tabs, and sig publications. The press achieves speeds of up to 40,000 impressions per hour with proven quality which allows us to meet your expectations and insure on-time delivery.
Color is available from single color to full color printing or up to 32 signature pages, 16 tabloid pages, or eight broadsheet pages in one run. You can expect bright colors, tight registration and consistent inking.
We offer a variety of uncoated papers in varying widths, from 30lb. newsprint to 50lb. offset. Average press runs range from 5,000 to over 350,000.
When you are ready to step up image quality and color, you are ready to step up to heatset.
Our web presses have significant advantages over conventional offset printing. Heatset delivers high-contrast results with striking color intensity. Plus, even on newsprint, heatset has excellent rub resistance and eliminates marking and increases clarity.
Our newest press is a 12-unit Goss Magnum outfitted with a 6-lamp Prime UV curing system. The UV system allows us to cure ink to coated and uncoated stocks without the use of thermal ovens and afterburners. The press is also outfitted with 3 folders allowing for output speeds in excess of 120,000 impressions per hour.
