BENTONVILLE, AR – The 360 Division of Community Publishers is pleased to announce today the release of the 360 Directories iPhone Application.
“The release of our iPhone Application is just another example of our commitment to put cutting edge Internet marketing tools in the hands of business owners,” says 360 General Manager Aaron Kimbrough. “Our development of this application means our business owner partners don't have to invest the time and money to develop their own applications. We've made the investment and done the work for them.” Inclusion on the iPhone application is just one benefit provided to 360Directory member businesses to increase their exposure within the community.
Just like the 360 sites themselves, the iPhone application gives users ready access to up-to-date information about local businesses, including their logo, location information, events, and business descriptions. The listings also include a link to a map with the location plotted and a call button that allows users to phone the business with just a simple click.
Coupons that are currently available on the 360 sites will also be available on the iPhone application, with the disclaimer that businesses may still require a printed copy of the coupon and do not have to accept digital versions as displayed on the iPhone. However, businesses may stipulate that they will allow users to redeem digital versions of coupons, seeing it as one way to use the 360 promo page to increase business and make a lasting positive impression on customers.
The iPhone application also includes search functionality and the ability to narrow selections to businesses that are near the users current location. The “show only near me” option filters results so that only businesses within 5 miles of the phone’s current location are shown. This hyper-localized content will help drive customers to the businesses most relevant to them.
The application is free and can be downloaded now from the iPhone App Store by searching for “360Directories” or, if you have iTunes installed you can download from iTunes via this link.
iPhone users who install the application will be able to view listings for any city in the 360Directories system.
