CPI changes its news division to Neighbor News

1/1/2012

Bentonville, AR - Today, Community Publishers officially changes the name of its news division which operates in three states to Neighbor News.  Formally Neighbor Newspapers, the name change better reflects the company’s commitment to deliver news and information in multiple formats.

"We have a rich history of delivering news and information to local communities,” says CPI President Steve Trolinger. "Our trusted printed newspapers have been serving communities for decades and we’ve had online news and information since 1996.  We felt the name change made sense as it more accurately reflects what we actually produce."

Community Publishers Incorporated has been committed to serving local communities for over a quarter century. Since the company’s inception in May of 1982, CPI and its news organizations have made it their goal to provide reliable, relevant news and information with excellence.
