The Harrison Daily Times Receives Awards at the Associated Press Conference

 Winners of the 2010 Associated Press Conference were announced

 The Harrison Daily Times won a total of eight awards at the Associated Press Conference, held in Little Rock. Five out of the eight awards were first place. The individual winners are as follows:

General Excellence
Second Place- Harrison Daily Times

Column, Lifestyle, Human Interest
First Place- James White, "Open Letter to Barack Obama"
Second Place- Celia DeWoody, "Freedom, Joy, and Little Boys"

Sports Feature
First Place- Brandon Cone, "Horton's Attitude Keeps Him in Sports"
Third Place- Jeff Brasel, "All Star Game: All Star Manager"
