About Community Publishers, Inc.
Community Publishers, Inc. is a newspaper and Internet publisher (Neighbor Newspapers), as well as a commercial printer (Nowata Printing) serving communities in Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. CPI was incorporated in 1982 and shortly thereafter acquired its first newspaper, the
Benton County Daily Democrat, in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Today, CPI has three basic business divisions. First, CPI publishes newspapers including two dailies, four twice-weeklies, 17 weeklies, and one business to business newspaper. Second, CPI is involved in Internet publishing including three online directories and web sites for all the newspapers. Third, CPI has an outstanding commercial printing division with three printing plants. There are more than 300 employees in the company.
